Similarity
citedBlended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.

Description

The Strymon DIG V2 is a dual digital delay stompbox offering three selectable delay voicings: ADM (early 1980s Adaptive Delta Modulation with lo-fi warmth), 12-bit PCM (mid-1980s 12-bit pulse code modulation with warm vintage character), and 24/96 (modern 24-bit 96kHz high-resolution clarity). Two independently configurable delay lines run simultaneously in series or parallel. The two lines can also run as a ping-pong delay. Version 2 adds a dedicated Tone control, three modulation depth levels, and expanded MIDI capabilities. A golden ratio timing mode creates a logarithmic spiral decay pattern. Particularly suited to ambient, shoegaze, post-rock, and studio recording.

The NuX Tape Echo Delay SOS is a tape echo simulation pedal delivering vintage tape-echo character with wow, flutter, and tape saturation in NuX's compact format at budget pricing. It aims to give players the warmth and organic pitch instability of a real tape echo machine without the cost of a boutique tape-echo pedal. It suits classic-rock, country, and vintage-tone players wanting an affordable taste of tape-echo warmth rather than a clean, pristine digital delay.
