Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.32% — somewhat different

The Alexander Pedals Luminous is a stereo DSP phaser in the Leap Series offering ten phase-shifting algorithms, 32 preset slots, expression pedal input, and stereo TRS I/O. Ten modes cover classic single-stage phase sweep, dual phasing, delay-phase hybrids, pattern-based effects, Flying Pan (stereo panning with phase offset), K-Trem (100% wet phaser for vibrato character), flanger, and envelope-controlled phase. Compared favorably to the Strymon Zelzah as a top-tier digital phaser. Suited to classic rock phasing, funk, R&B, ambient stereo textures, vibrato substitution, and psychedelic effects.
The Empress Nebulus is a modulation pedal from Canadian manufacturer Empress Effects, delivering Chorus, Vibrato, and Flanger modes with Rate, Depth, Delay, and Feedback controls for comprehensive modulation coverage. Each mode produces distinct modulation character with the shared control set providing consistent operation. Expression pedal input for real-time Rate or Depth modulation. Empress Effects Canadian boutique quality construction.
