Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.47% — somewhat different

The Alexander Pedals History Lesson Vol. 3 is a six-mode tap-tempo delay in the NEO Series with an analog dry-through path, MIDI, 4 onboard presets expandable to 16 via MIDI, and an Autotrails timer. Six modes: Mag (warm tape echo with smooth repeat softening), BBD (analog bucket-brigade murky repeats), Dig (24-bit clean digital clarity), LoFi (degraded tape with wow, flutter, and light distortion), 4HD (four virtual tape heads for multi-tap rhythmic delays), and FLT (12-bit rack delay with resonant filter and detune for 1980s new-wave textures). Tap tempo with three selectable subdivisions. No stereo output.
The GFI System Orca is a compact delay from the Singaporean boutique maker, packing four of the company's core delay algorithms into a small enclosure: Digital for clean, precise, uncoloured repeats; Tape for warm, saturated echoes that darken and wobble as they decay; Diffuse for smeared, washed-out repeats that blur into ambient texture; and Ambiental for the most atmospheric, spacious tails. An LCD screen and multi-function knobs -- which turn, push, hold and twist -- handle parameter editing, expression mapping, secondary controls and global options without menu-diving. It supports mono operation over standard TS cables and stereo via TRS, with preset storage and MIDI for live recall.
