Similarity
citedBlended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.

Description

The Alexander Pedals Radical Delay is a compact three-mode digital delay inspired by 1980s clean digital aesthetics in the NEO Series. Three modes: MOD delivers crystal-clear delay with the Tweak knob adding chorus clockwise or vibrato counterclockwise to the repeats, GLITCH adds pitch artifacts and synth-video-game weirdness to the repeats for experimental and chiptune-adjacent sounds, and BEND pitch-shifts every successive repeat spiraling up or down by an octave depending on Tweak position. Features tap tempo integrated into the bypass footswitch, 4 onboard presets, and MIDI.

The Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man is a classic analog delay pedal using bucket-brigade device (BBD) circuitry to deliver warm, natural-sounding echo with built-in chorus and vibrato modulation. Features Delay Time (up to approximately 550ms depending on version), Feedback, Blend, and Chorus/Vibrato selection with depth control for the integrated modulation. An expression pedal jack enables external delay time control for tape-style pitch-drift effects. Used by influential players including the Edge and David Gilmour for its warm, musical delay character.
