Similarity
citedBlended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.

Description

The Alexander Pedals Radical Delay is a compact three-mode digital delay inspired by 1980s clean digital aesthetics in the NEO Series. Three modes: MOD delivers crystal-clear delay with the Tweak knob adding chorus clockwise or vibrato counterclockwise to the repeats, GLITCH adds pitch artifacts and synth-video-game weirdness to the repeats for experimental and chiptune-adjacent sounds, and BEND pitch-shifts every successive repeat spiraling up or down by an octave depending on Tweak position. Features tap tempo integrated into the bypass footswitch, 4 onboard presets, and MIDI.

The Chase Bliss Generation Loss MKII is a digital lo-fi degradation pedal that recreates the rough, wobbly character of a worn VHS tape, with internal DIP switches that can configure it to behave as either the original MKI or the updated MKII. Controls for Wow, Flutter, Saturation, and Failure introduce pitch wobble, jerky stutters, background noise, and honky filtering, while a rotary Model knob selects among twelve EQ filtering profiles for different degraded tonal colors. It also offers stereo operation, expression pedal control, and a Freeze function that sustains a chord indefinitely while its modulation continues evolving. Rather than a straightforward tape or cassette simulator, it can generate scuzzy chorus, phasing, and sample-and-hold style textures, making it suited to experimental, ambient, and lo-fi production styles that want authentic-sounding analog imperfection from a digital source.
