The Alexander Pedals Space Race is a six-mode digital reverb in the NEO Series with an analog dry signal path, 4 onboard presets expandable to 16 via MIDI, expression pedal morphing, and an AutoTrails timer for precise tail decay control. Six modes: MOD (modulated chamber reverb with pitch modulation depth control), SHIM (pitch-shifted shimmer with octave up or down direction control), LOFI (dirty filtered reverb with degraded character), PLATE (bright present plate simulation with high-frequency damping), SPRING (drippy spring tank simulation from subtle to pronounced), and ANALOG (BBD-style multi-tap emulation producing individually audible echo taps within the reverb tail).
The Strymon NightSky is an experimental time-warped reverberator, closer to a reverberant synthesis workstation than a conventional reverb. A Texture control selects three characters: Sparse, which behaves almost like a delay under staccato playing and smooths out on sustained notes; Dense, a thick plate-like wash that becomes chaotic at long decay times; and Diffuse, a wide, expansive ambient voice. The reverb core runs at a variable process rate, so the size of the space and the pitch of the tail can be swept smoothly or quantised to musical scales. A Voice section tunes shimmer to a specific interval, applied either into or inside the core, and tone, modulation, glimmer and drive shape the character further, reaching bright, cinematic and deliberately unnatural textures.
