The Ampeg Rocket Bass RB-112 is a 100-watt, 1x12-inch bass combo amplifier in the Rocket Bass series, featuring Ampeg's Super Grit Technology (SGT) overdrive and an SVT-inspired preamp voicing. The 12-inch driver delivers more headroom and low-frequency presence than the RB-110 while remaining compact and portable. Three-band EQ, SGT drive, a rear XLR DI, and headphone and aux connections make it versatile across rehearsal, small-venue gigging, and home recording. It delivers warm, slightly mid-forward Ampeg character suited for rock, blues, soul, and practice situations where a full stack is impractical.

The Laney RBW100 is an earlier-generation 65-watt bass combo from Laney's Richter lineup, produced roughly 1999-2003, built in a carpet-covered wedge-shaped cabinet that could be angled for stage monitoring, the same kickback format later carried forward into the RB3. It features active and passive inputs, gain control, an onboard compressor, parametric frequency and gain controls, a treble control, headphone output, and DI input. As the predecessor design in the line, it established the wedge-format bass combo concept that Laney continued to refine in subsequent Richter series releases.
