It includes a balanced DI output with cab simulation and a headphone output, plus three separate effects loops for complex signal routing. Fat and Smooth switches allow the pedal to replicate tones from the TightRock and FatRock families. The integrated DI and studio-quality output make it suitable for direct recording as well as traditional amp use.

The Tech 21 PSA is a programmable analog SansAmp preamp, the rackmount and pedal device that brought Tech 21's acclaimed analog amp emulation to a deeply tweakable, preset-based format, here in a 30th Anniversary edition. It delivers a vast range of amp and cabinet voicings entirely in the analog domain, from clean to high gain, with a DI for direct recording, a studio and touring staple.
