The Amptweaker Tight Rock 2 is the second-generation version of the TightRock rock distortion pedal designed by James Brown. It bridges the gap between the lighter TightDrive and the heavier TightMetal, delivering gain levels suitable for hard rock and classic heavy metal without reaching modern extreme-gain territory. A Tight control shapes pick attack from smooth and thick to aggressive, while an EQ switch enables PlexEQ mode for classic vintage Marshall stack tones with a slightly scooped midrange and characteristic low-end.
