Anasounds Spinner Tremolo Control vs Chase Bliss Gravitas

The Anasounds Spinner Tremolo Control and the Chase Bliss Gravitas are both pedals sharing spring, analog warmth, modulated. The Chase Bliss Gravitas leans lush.

Similarity
citedBlended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.

Description

The Anasounds Spinner is an expression control pedal designed to control the tremolo rate of Anasounds tremolo pedals including the Ages and Sliver. A rotating spinner wheel mounted on the enclosure top converts spin speed into expression signal via magnets and a sensor beneath the wheel. Kicking the spinner starts rotation at a preset speed; stopping it returns the tremolo to its programmed rate. Three internal trimpots adjust the speed threshold, acceleration, and deceleration rate. Reviewed in Guitar World alongside the Ages and Sliver. Available in assembled and kit versions. Compatible only with Anasounds expression-input tremolo pedals.

Chase Bliss Gravitas is an all-analog tremolo pedal offering three core tremolo types: a vintage opto-style tremolo, a harmonic tremolo inspired by the 1961 brownface Fender Twin, and a blend of the two, built around Analog Devices AD823 op-amps for clean tonal clarity. An additional mod-shape circuit and deep digital control over the analog signal path let it recreate nearly any historic tremolo style, from simple volume modulation to complex warbling patterns, making it one of the most expansive tremolo pedals available. It appeals to both purists who want a pristine all-analog signal path and players who want modern features like presets, expression control, tap tempo and full MIDI implementation layered on top.
