Similarity
citedBlended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.

Description

The DigiTech DOD Rubberneck is a 100-percent analog delay pedal offering over one second of warm BBD-based repeats. Delay time spans 30ms to 1000ms with up to 1500ms via the Tempo footswitch. Double concentric knobs provide independent control of Modulation Rate and Depth, and separate Gain and Tone of the delay signal. A feedback loop send and return allows external effects to be inserted into the delay repeats. Two footswitches deliver customizable momentary control of oscillation and pitch sweep (Rubbernecking). Features tap tempo with subdivisions, tails control, and true bypass. 9V DC, dimensions 5.00 x 4.68 x 2.17 inches.

The Maxon AD-9 Pro is a professional-grade analog delay pedal from Japanese manufacturer Maxon (Tokyo, Japan), delivering premium bucket-brigade BBD analog delay with True Bypass and buffered bypass options, an adjustable Attack knob for controlling the delay signal onset, and a separate Mix circuit. Maxon is the manufacturer behind many classic Ibanez effects and maintains a premium Japanese effects line under the Maxon name. The AD-9 Pro provides warm, organic analog delay for professional studio and stage use.
