In standard Fuzz mode the pedal produces a dense, wall-of-fuzz character suited for heavy riffs and power chords, with a sustain control that ranges from spitty and poppy at low settings to gated super-high-gain saturation at full. Stinger mode adds an aggressive high octave that cuts through dense mixes with harmonically rich intensity, described by players as harmonics on crack. The Black Arts Toneworks FNORD is an octaver-fuzz hybrid pedal blending a scrambler or octave-up fuzz circuit with a conventional fuzz and distortion voice.
