The Beetronics Vezzpa Octave Stinger is a handmade analog octave fuzz from Portland, Oregon combining an op-amp-based high-gain fuzz circuit with a switchable upper octave called Stinger mode. In standard Fuzz mode the pedal produces a dense, wall-of-fuzz character suited for heavy riffs and power chords, with a sustain control that ranges from spitty and poppy at low settings to gated super-high-gain saturation at full. Stinger mode adds an aggressive high octave that cuts through dense mixes with harmonically rich intensity, described by players as harmonics on crack. The Old Blood Noise Endeavors Excess V2 is an enhanced version of OBNE's unique multi-mode distortion pedal combining distortion with filter, gating, and modulation in hand-built boutique quality. The V2 refines and expands the original Excess features with additional tonal control.
