Similarity
citedBlended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.

Description

The Behringer BM-13 Phaser is a 6/12-stage analog phaser pedal from Behringer effects range. A Lo/Hi toggle switch selects between 6-stage phasing for subtle classic phase tones and 12-stage phasing for deeper more pronounced modulation. Controls include Sweep, Resonance, Amount, and Rate, alongside a dedicated Drive control for an integrated preamp gain stage. True bypass. 9V DC or battery. Designed to deliver classic phase shifting character from soft shimmer through intense jet-plane effects with an added preamp option for simultaneous drive coloring.

The Behringer Dual-Phase (also known as the Bi-Phase) is an authentic analog dual-phaser pedal modeled after a classic 1970s dual phase shifter. The circuit uses 12 optocouplers for natural organic phasing character. Two independent sweep generators each have their own Rate and Shape controls, allowing two simultaneous phase sweep speeds and waveform characters that modulate the signal simultaneously for complex phase interactions. True bypass. 9V DC or battery. Designed to capture the intense and natural effect of vintage dual-phaser units that used multiple independent LFOs.
