The Ritual V2 side provides aggressive but manageable high-gain fuzz with extended sustain, while the Oath adds extreme compressed distortion with a more compressed and chaotic high-gain character. The EarthQuaker Devices Hizumitas Fuzz V2 is the second version of the Akron, Ohio boutique builder's massive silicon fuzz pedal, designed in collaboration with Wata from Boris as a recreation of her vintage Elk BM Sustainar fuzz. The V2 update refines the original circuit with improved component selection. Like the original, it delivers enormous, heavy distortion and smooth sustain with underlying grit that walks the distortion-fuzz boundary.
