The Browne Amplification Alkene Nashville Overdrive is a standalone version of the green channel from the Protein dual overdrive, based on the ODR-1 circuit and inspired by Nashville session overdrives used by Tim Pierce and Jerry McPherson. It delivers musical clipping with gentle amp-like compression, restored mid frequencies, and tightened low end for clarity and punch. A two-way clipping switch selects between symmetrical and asymmetrical modes, with asymmetrical providing more amp-like response. Excels at crunchy rhythm tones with chord clarity and expressive, singing lead tones when pushed. Built in Kansas City.
