The Blackstar CV30 is a 30-watt signature combo amplifier designed in collaboration with guitarist Carmen Vandenberg of Bones UK and Jeff Beck collaborator. It runs two ECC83 preamp tubes and two 6L6 power tubes, housed in a 1x12 cabinet loaded with a Celestion V-Type speaker. Two channels each carry two voices: the Clean channel switches between American and British voicings while the Overdrive channel offers Classic and Modern gain characters. Blackstar patented ISF tone control, digital reverb, and an effects loop complete the feature set. The 6L6 power section delivers American-style dynamics with British Class A-style chime and shimmer.

The Blackstar St. James 50 EL34H Fawn is the head version of the St. James 50 EL34 in a Fawn tolex cosmetic finish, retaining the same all-tube circuit with EL34 output valves at 50 watts. The EL34 version of the St. James 50 delivers a more British-voiced character compared to the 6L6 model — pronounced midrange, classic overdrive compression, and Vox-adjacent clean chime on channel one, with channel two covering blues through classic rock overdrive and Indian summer saturation via the front-end boost. The Fawn finish is a limited cosmetic variant with no circuit differences. Weighing approximately 13 pounds the EL34H Fawn retains the full St. James portability advantage in head format.
