The Blackstar Dept. 10 Dual Distortion is a two-channel distortion unit with two switchable voices per channel, based on preamp circuitry designed to behave like a real tube amplifier under the hood. Each channel has a dedicated Gain and Level control, with shared Tone and ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) controls. The ISF knob sweeps between American and British gain characters. Includes cab simulation for direct recording. Described as feeling and responding like a proper valve amp even through a solid-state amplifier.

The Mooer Micro Preamp 009 Blacknight models the Engl Ritchie Blackmore signature head, a German high-gain design with a hard, focused midrange and a very tight bottom end. The most aggressive of the series' British-lineage voices.
