Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.44% — somewhat different

The Blackstar HT-5C is a 5-watt all-tube combo amplifier from Blackstar HT series, using an ECC83 preamp tube and an EL34 output tube. It delivers genuine all-valve character at practice and small-studio volumes through a single speaker. A single channel provides both clean and overdrive voicings alongside Blackstar ISF tone control. Sitting above the 1-watt HT-1 in the line, the HT-5C offers slightly more clean headroom before breakup while retaining the compact, bedroom-friendly tube amp format. An emulated output socket allows direct connection to a recording interface without a speaker cabinet.
The Kustom HV30 from the High Voltage series is a 30-watt 1x12 hybrid: a single 12AX7 valve drives an otherwise solid-state preamp into a solid-state power section, so it takes some of the valve's compression without the maintenance of a full tube amp. Two channels each carry their own Gain and Master, and a 24-bit digital section supplies sixteen programmable effects through a Celestion speaker.
