The Blackstar HT Studio 20H is a 20-watt EL34 tube guitar amplifier head with two channels — clean and overdrive — covering the full range from country clean through natural break-up to high-gain saturation. Blackstar's ISF control shifts the tone stack continuously between American and British tonal signatures. The clean channel delivers sparkle and body with solid bass and shimmering top end; the overdrive channel reaches high gain without the detached top-end fizz common in similar designs, and cleans up smoothly from the guitar's volume knob. The head format allows flexible cabinet pairing. At 20 watts it bridges studio and small-stage use.
The Magnatone Starlite is a 5-watt, single-ended Class A tube combo built around a 6V6 power tube and 12AX7 preamp tube, driving a custom 8-inch USA-made WGS ceramic speaker. It offers just Volume and Tone controls, plus a Negative Feedback on/off switch that shifts the amp from clean sparkle to rich harmonic drive, and the Tone control is uniquely voiced to cover both black-panel and tweed-era responses with a musical mid-cut below 12 o'clock.
