Similarity
citedBlended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.

Description

The Blackstar Series One 10AE is a 10-watt single-ended KT88 tube guitar combo amplifier produced as a limited-edition 10th anniversary model, limited to 1000 units worldwide. The KT88 power tube delivers exceptional headroom, tight and defined low-end, and rich harmonic complexity for a 10-watt output — characteristics typically associated with larger-watt designs. Two channels cover dynamic clean tones with gorgeous sparkle through high-gain saturation drenched in rich harmonics. Blackstar's ISF control, series effects loop, and speaker-emulated output provide tonal flexibility and recording capability. The design draws from Blackstar's Series One flagship lineage in a compact 1x12 anniversary package.

The Blackstar HT Stage 60 212 MkII is a 60-watt all-tube guitar combo amplifier housing two Celestion 12-inch speakers. The 60-watt EL34 power section drives three footswitchable channels — Clean, OD1, and OD2 — with a voice switch on each channel that effectively doubles the available tonal options to six distinct settings ranging from boutique clean through classic crunch to intense modern high-gain saturation. Blackstar's ISF tone control shapes American-to-British tonal character. A series effects loop, CabRig speaker emulation on the DI output, and a footswitchable reverb complete the feature set. The MkII revision revoiced all three channels for greater clarity and character compared to the original HT Stage 60.
