Similarity
citedBlended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.

Description

The Boffin FX Vibratron is an analog vibrato and tremolo pedal offering a range of pulsing and pitch-modulating effects from slow, violin-like warble to fast rhythmic tremolo chop. Controls include Rate for speed and Depth for intensity. Features true bypass and a red LED indicator for effect-on status. Powered by a standard 9V DC, 2.1mm center-negative supply. Suited to vintage rock, surf, country, and atmospheric indie styles where organic modulation is preferred.

The Electro-Harmonix Nano Pulsar is a compact, mono analog tremolo pedal with a variable-shape waveform control. Three knobs — Rate, Depth, and Shape — and a three-position waveform toggle allow continuous morphing between sine, sawtooth, and square wave modulation. The Shape knob blends between waveform types, covering gentle vintage-style amplitude tremolo through to hard, choppy gated staccato in a smaller, lower-cost format than the Stereo Pulsar. True bypass, mono output.
