A Fat/Tight switch fundamentally changes the character: Fat produces a beefy, low-mid-weighted tone with full harmonic content, while Tight reduces gain slightly and increases definition for precision metal rhythm work. The NUX Drive Force is a compact stompbox modeller packing twelve overdrive and distortion models into a dual-channel pedal, covering smooth, creamy low-gain breakup through gritty midrange-forward crunch to aggressive high-gain saturation for metal. Two footswitchable channels store separate preset configurations for instant switching between a rhythm and a lead voice, and two models can be mixed and sent to separate A and B outputs for stereo processing or a two-amp rig.
