The Boss OC-5 Octave is a polyphonic octave pedal offering both vintage monophonic mode and modern poly mode for chord-compatible octave generation. Controls include Direct level, plus one octave up, minus one octave down, and minus two octave down levels, with a Vintage/Poly mode switch and a Guitar/Bass input selector for frequency range optimization. In Poly mode the OC-5 tracks chords accurately. In Vintage mode it replicates the monophonic analog character of classic Boss octave pedals including the OC-2.
