Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.39% — somewhat different

The Browne Amplification Fixer is a boutique dual boost and buffer pedal handbuilt in Montreal. It provides two independent boost stages alongside a transparent buffer circuit, designed to preserve signal integrity throughout long signal chains or complex pedalboards. The boost stages offer clean gain to drive amplifier inputs harder or to lift volume for solos, while the buffer neutralizes impedance-related tone loss. Built with the same premium component philosophy as the Protein dual overdrive, the Fixer suits players who want a transparent gain and tone-preservation tool without coloring the signal.
The One Control Little Green Emphaser is a dynamic boost pedal from One Control's compact effects lineup, designed to add emphasis and lift to a guitar signal in response to playing dynamics rather than applying a fixed, static boost. It reflects One Control's characteristic minimalist, function-focused design approach in a compact, road-ready enclosure.
