The Carl Martin PlexiRanger combines the PlexiTone Marshall Plexi emulation circuit with a treble booster in the style of the Dallas Rangemaster and John Hornby Skewes treble booster, allowing both effects to be used independently or together. The treble booster adds the bright, singing harmonic character associated with vintage British lead guitar tones. The combination enables classic Clapton, Page, and Hendrix-era treble boost plus Plexi drive tones in a single unit. Made in Denmark by Carl Martin.
The Wampler Golden Jubilee is a dual-footswitch overdrive/distortion pedal pairing two distinct amp-inspired voicings: a Distortion channel modeled on the smooth, articulate punch of a MESA/Boogie Mark IIC+ style high-gain tone, and an Overdrive channel modeled on the saturated, muscular British crunch of a Marshall Silver Jubilee. Each channel has independent Level, Tone, and Gain controls plus its own Character switch (the OD channel's shifts gain range, the DS channel's shifts brightness), and a central Order switch lets players route the channels OD-into-DS or DS-into-OD for different stacked tones.
