Similarity
citedBlended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.

Description

The Caroline Guitar Company ARIGATO is a 4-stage analog OTA-based phaser and vibrato pedal designed with intentionally off-balance LFO behavior for quirky, expressive modulation. Based on the Somersault platform but modified to deliver phaser and vibrato rather than chorus. The dual LFOs can be pushed into wild, unstable territory for pitch-bending vibrato effects, and with Feedback turned up produces pseudo auto-wah sounds. Running 100% wet enables pure pitch vibrato with no dry signal blend. Boutique US construction.

The Caroline Guitar Company Somersault Lo-Fi Modulator is a chorus, vibrato, and faux-rotary modulation pedal with a deliberately lo-fi character that adds analog warmth and digital degradation to the modulation effect. Produces watery chorus, seasick vibrato, and glitchy modulation textures. The lo-fi design philosophy applies the same degraded, characterful approach as the Meteore and Kilobyte to the modulation domain. Boutique US construction. Suited for indie, shoegaze, and experimental players who want modulation with personality.
