The Caroline Guitar Company ARIGATO is a 4-stage analog OTA-based phaser and vibrato pedal designed with intentionally off-balance LFO behavior for quirky, expressive modulation. Based on the Somersault platform but modified to deliver phaser and vibrato rather than chorus. The dual LFOs can be pushed into wild, unstable territory for pitch-bending vibrato effects, and with Feedback turned up produces pseudo auto-wah sounds. The EarthQuaker Devices Night Wire is a wide-range harmonic tremolo pedal that splits the signal into two filtered bands and modulates them out of phase with each other, producing a swirling, dimensional tremolo distinct from standard volume-based tremolo circuits. The center point of both filters is adjustable for different tonal characters, with filter frequency modulation offering Manual, LFO, and Attack modes for different response behaviors. As the original version, it established the core harmonic tremolo circuit later refined in V2 with quieter circuitry and improved switching.
