Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. The Caroline Guitar Company ARIGATO is a 4-stage analog OTA-based phaser and vibrato pedal designed with intentionally off-balance LFO behavior for quirky, expressive modulation. Based on the Somersault platform but modified to deliver phaser and vibrato rather than chorus. The dual LFOs can be pushed into wild, unstable territory for pitch-bending vibrato effects, and with Feedback turned up produces pseudo auto-wah sounds. Running 100% wet enables pure pitch vibrato with no dry signal blend. Boutique US construction.
The JHS Unicorn V2 is an all-analog, photocell-based UniVibe pedal with tap tempo, offering the rotating-speaker character of the classic Uni-Vibe with modern conveniences. It is among the first fully analog photocell vibe pedals to include tap tempo as standard. Controls include Volume, Speed, Depth, and a Ratio control for tap-tempo subdivisions, plus a Vibrato/Chorus switch. Compatible with optional external tap control and expression pedal for rate control. Made in Kansas City, Missouri.
