The Catalinbread Antichthon is an oscillating chaos fuzz from Portland, Oregon, capable of producing conventional fuzz tones and crossing into extreme self-oscillation, audio chaos, and experimental noise territory. At moderate gain settings the Antichthon functions as a rich, harmonically complex silicon fuzz with excellent sustain. As gain increases, the circuit approaches and crosses into oscillation, generating alien tones, chaotic feedback, and unworldly sonic textures. Named after the ancient Greek hypothetical counter-Earth planet. Designed for experimental, noise, and avant-garde players as well as players seeking extreme fuzz.
The Dr. Scientist Frazz Dazzler V2 is the updated version of the original Frazz Dazzler dual-channel fuzz pedal from Canadian boutique manufacturer Dr. Scientist, handmade in British Columbia. The V2 retains the dual-channel architecture, active three-band EQ, voltage starve system, parallel Mix control, and high-gain noise gate of the original while refining the circuit and expanding control options. The expression pedal input allows real-time control of the Mix parameter, enabling dynamic fuzz depth adjustment. The V2 builds on the proven platform of the original and is the current production version of the Frazz Dazzler, suited for guitar, bass, and synthesizer.
