The Fairfield Circuitry Barbershop is a boutique overdrive designed to simulate the natural gain character of a pushed tube amplifier. Controls include Gain, Volume, Sag, and a three-position Tone switch. The Sag control reduces supply voltage to the circuit's amplifier sections, imparting progressively compressed, brownish saturation at lower settings to simulate a tube amplifier's power supply sag under load.
