Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.48% — somewhat different

Citation/mention fame — how often this gear is cited across artist rigs and gear discussion. The Catalinbread Echorec is a digital recreation of the vintage Binson Echorec, an Italian magnetic-drum echo unit rather than a tape-based delay, capturing its organic, colorful repeat character and the natural, slightly metallic-tinged decay that comes from its magneto-mechanical drum-repeat origins. Its tone control has a deep, resonant effect on the repeats and how they interact with modulation, ranging from dark and warm to bright and chirpy. It blends digital precision with an underlying analog-feeling earthiness, and adds a delay-time knob for tempo control the original hardware never offered. It suits players wanting the distinctive, vintage Binson-style echo character in a compact, modern stompbox.
The Horizon Devices Flux Echo is a combined reverb and delay pedal from Misha Mansoor's company, designed to add ambience and rhythmic echo to metal and modern rock rigs. It pairs lush reverbs with flexible delays in one box, suited to ambient leads, atmospheric passages and clean textures within a high-gain context.
