Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.54% — moderately similar

The Catalinbread Mountain Edition Cloak is a collector special edition of the Cloak shimmer reverb pedal, featuring the same room-style reverb paired with a shimmer effect inspired by a Stanford University acoustics paper. The Mountain Edition offers a unique colorway or finish while retaining the same circuit and audio performance as the standard Cloak. Shimmer knob adds three orders of harmonically-rich overtones within the reverb trails. Built by Catalinbread in Portland, Oregon.
The Meris Mercury7 is a studio-grade reverb pedal from Meris (Los Angeles, California), delivering lush, expansive reverb algorithms including Cathedra (cathedral) and Room modes inspired by vintage 1970s film studio reverb hardware. Meris was founded by former Roland/BOSS engineers and the Mercury7 is considered one of the finest reverb pedals available. Loved by ambient, shoegaze, and studio players for its lush, expansive, detailed reverb character.
