The Chase Bliss Tonal Recall Red Knob Mod is an analog delay pedal built around four reissued MN3005 bucket-brigade delay chips, keeping the guitar signal path entirely analog while adding digital microprocessor control on top. It offers delay times extended up to eleven hundred milliseconds, tap tempo, optional trails on bypass, expression pedal control over any parameter, and preset saving, features not available on a purely analog vintage delay. Sonically it delivers classic, warm analog delay character reminiscent of vintage bucket-brigade units, with each repeat degrading slightly in a musical way. Beyond standard guitar delay it can be used for CV sequencing and oscillation-based sound design with modular synths. It suits players who want authentic vintage analog delay tone married to modern conveniences like recallable presets and expression control, spanning traditional guitar rigs through to more experimental electronic and synth-based setups.
The Providence Chrono Delay is a premium analog-voiced digital delay from Providence (Japan), a respected Japanese boutique effects manufacturer known for high-quality analog effects and professional-grade construction. The Chrono Delay delivers warm, musical delay with precise time control and high-quality analog-voiced repeats in a professional Providence construction format for studio and stage use.
