The Fender Waylon Jennings Phaser is an all-analogue phaser built around Fender's original 1970s four-stage phase circuit, developed with the Jennings estate to capture the outlaw country player's stage and studio sound. A three-position switch selects two, four or six phase stages, moving from a gentle, shallow shimmer through the classic thick four-stage swirl to a deep, resonant six-stage sweep. Range, Rate and Feedback controls set sweep width, speed and resonance, with higher feedback sharpening the notches into a vocal, hollow, more pronounced effect.
