Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.47% — somewhat different

The Cornerstone Imperium is a boutique overdrive from the Italian manufacturer Cornerstone, providing harmonically rich, amp-like overdrive with the natural dynamic response and touch sensitivity characteristic of the Cornerstone design philosophy. Delivers professional-grade Italian boutique overdrive performance covering the gain range from clean boost through substantial saturation. Part of the Cornerstone Italian handmade boutique lineup. Handmade in Italy.
The Mad Professor SOD is one of the company's overdrive pedals, sold under an abbreviated model designation. Mad Professor build in Finland and are known for transparent, amp-pushing drive circuits rather than heavy distortion, but nothing in the available coverage pins down exactly which of their circuits SOD refers to, so it is best treated as an open question until confirmed against a photo or the seller's listing.
