The Ibanez VM1 Vinnie Moore Signature is an ultra-rare 1988 solid-body with Honduran mahogany body, maple neck, 22-fret ebony fingerboard, and dual DiMarzio Double Whammy humbuckers. The mahogany and maple combination generates tremendous grunt and a shocking tone departure from typical alder-and-maple spangle, yielding rich warm response with weight and character. Only fifty units were produced (twenty-five white, twenty-five splash finish) over 1988-1989, making it a collected rarity. The non-locking Edge II tremolo balances classic feel with modern precision.
