Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. The Death By Audio Echo Master Mic Stand Clip v3 is a digital delay and echo pedal from Death By Audio, a Brooklyn boutique effects maker, in a version packaged with a mic stand clip for elevated hands-free placement during performance. The Echo Master covers a wide range from clean digital delay to lo-fi degraded echo with self-oscillation and pitch manipulation capability. Multiple voice modes alter the echo character dramatically. The v3 designation reflects the third revision of this platform.
The Strymon Olivera is a vintage oil-can echo pedal from Strymon (Westlake Village, California), modeling the unique oil-can delay mechanism found in vintage Tel-Ray and Morley oil-can echo units from the 1960s for the distinctive, slightly warbled and saturated oil-can echo character used in surf, psychedelic, and experimental music. The Olivera captures one of the rarest and most unusual delay sounds in guitar history.
