The Herbert is considered one of the finest and most transparent high-gain amplifiers ever built, used extensively on major touring productions and studio sessions across hard rock, metal, and progressive music.

The Fender Super-Sonic 22 is a 22-watt all-tube 2-channel guitar amplifier head from Fender, featuring EL84 output tubes and two independent channels — Vintage and Burn. The Vintage channel delivers the open, sparkling Fender clean tone inspired by early Vibrasonic and Vibroverb designs. The Burn channel provides modern high-gain saturation, making the Super-Sonic an unusual Fender offering that covers vintage American clean and aggressive high-gain lead in a single amp. Available as a head or combo.
