The Diezel Herbert MkIII is a 180-watt all-tube amplifier head from Diezel Amplification, built in Germany. Three independent channels — Clean, Crunch, and Lead — each with their own EQ sections span pristine clean through extreme high gain. The MkIII revision refines voicing over earlier Herbert versions. The Herbert is considered one of the finest and most transparent high-gain amplifiers ever built, used extensively on major touring productions and studio sessions across hard rock, metal, and progressive music.

The Laney Ironheart IRT-SLS is a three-channel 300-watt amplifier head from the Ironheart range, and the highest-powered model in the line. Where the smaller Ironhearts are all-valve designs in the 30 to 60 watt bracket, the SLS pairs the Ironheart preamp voicing with a much larger power section for players who need substantial stage volume and headroom. Its three channels cover clean, rhythm and lead, spanning clean tones through to the saturated high gain the range is built around. Laney has produced amplifiers in Birmingham since 1967, and the Ironheart line is its modern metal-oriented series. It suits metal and hard rock players working at significant stage volume.
