The DigiTech DOD Gunslinger is a MOSFET-based distortion pedal from the DOD lineup, using MOSFET transistors to produce the warm, organic distortion character that MOSFET-biased circuits provide as a smooth alternative to conventional silicon distortion. The Wampler TCD (The Compulsion Drive) is Brian Wampler's reimagining of the Fulltone OCD distortion circuit, offering Gain, a 3-band EQ (Bass, Mids, Treble), and Level controls, plus a Mode switch selecting between a traditional gain structure and cascaded MOSFET gain stages for a harder-hitting, more tube-like sound. Hidden Fat and Diode switches add further tonal options: Fat adds deep low-end warmth, while Diode shifts the gain profile via an added clipping diode for tighter, more saturated distortion.
