Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.35% — somewhat different

The EarthQuaker Devices Arrows is an all-discrete preamp booster pedal from the Akron, Ohio boutique builder, designed to add a natural additional channel of gain to dirt pedals and amplifiers by boosting midrange, tightening the low end, and brightening the top end simultaneously. The single-knob simplicity controls the output level while the circuit internally sculpts the frequency response toward a brighter, tighter, more present tone. Acts as a tone masseuse that enhances the character of whatever follows it in the signal chain. Used before drive pedals to push them harder or before an amplifier to add presence.
The EarthQuaker Devices Tone Job is an EQ and volume boost pedal from Akron, Ohio boutique manufacturer EarthQuaker Devices, delivering a three-band active EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble) with a Volume control for signal level boost or cut. The Tone Job provides active EQ shaping for live tone correction, studio frequency adjustment, or adding midrange presence for cutting through a mix. True bypass.
