It delivers cutting mid-focused tones with brilliant top-end grind and low-end authority from vintage germanium transistors that are responsive to guitar volume attenuation. At lower gain settings the Barrows sings with amp-like distortion and superb touch sensitivity; at higher settings it builds to crushing, sustain-drenched fuzz. Associated with blues, classic rock, and psychedelic styles.
The Fuzzrocious Baby Furnace is a compact fuzz pedal from Mount Laurel, New Jersey-based Fuzzrocious Pedals, featuring a Tone control that sweeps the character from angry, buzzy, tight fuzz toward heavier doom-style saturation with thick cab-like body, and a Blend control for mixing in the clean signal. The clean blend preserves low-end definition and note attack under heavy fuzz saturation, making it practical for both lead and rhythm work where fundamental clarity is needed beneath the fuzz layer. Hand-built by Ryan Ratajski in small batches.
