Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.43% — somewhat different

The EarthQuaker Devices Dispatch Master V2 carries the exact same digital hall-reverb-plus-delay circuit as the original v1, but introduces EarthQuaker's relay-based soft-touch switching for silent, click-free engagement and improved long-term durability over the original mechanical footswitch. Sound and delay/reverb specs (nearly two seconds of delay, near-infinite repeats, lush hall-style reverb) are unchanged from v1; the upgrade is entirely in switching reliability and quietness. It's aimed at players who want the acclaimed Dispatch Master tone with a more road-worthy, silent-switching footswitch than the original version offered.
The Laney Black Country Customs Secret Path is a hand-built British reverb pedal with three voices: a bright, springy Spring reverb, a smooth Plate reverb, and the Secret Path mode, a dark, brooding reverb suited to ambient and deep atmospheric soundscapes. Mix, tone, pre-delay and size controls shape each voice. Holding the footswitch engages an enhanced mode that adds modulation to the Plate and Spring settings and an ethereal shimmer to the Secret Path voice. Stereo outputs widen the sense of space and the pedal accepts an expression pedal. Ultra-quiet switching and a tri-colour mode indicator suit dark stages.
