Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.50% — somewhat different

The EarthQuaker Devices Night Wire V2 refines the original Night Wire's dual-filter harmonic tremolo circuit with quieter, improved circuitry and Flexi-switch bypass switching, while retaining the same core swirling, dimensional tremolo character and Manual/LFO/Attack filter modulation modes. Users who owned both versions describe V2 as a subtle but meaningful step up, delivering a significantly more engaging playing experience than the original. The adjustable dual-filter design and harmonic tremolo character remain unchanged from V1; the improvements are in noise reduction and switching functionality.
The Electro-Harmonix Pulsar is a variable-speed tremolo pedal from Electro-Harmonix, delivering optical-style amplitude modulation tremolo with Rate, Depth, and Shape controls. The Shape control selects between different tremolo waveforms from smooth sine wave to sharp square wave chopping. The Pulsar provides studio-quality tremolo with a wide Rate range from gentle slow pulse through fast, machine-gun tremolo chop.
