The EarthQuaker Devices Grand Orbiter is a 4-stage OTA-based phaser built around Rate, Depth, Sweep, and Resonance controls, offering a wide range of phaser textures from subtle swirl to intense, resonant sweeping. As the original version, it uses a hard mechanical footswitch, later replaced in V3 by a quieter soft switch with added Flexi-switch momentary functionality. The underlying 4-stage OTA phaser circuit and its four tone-shaping controls are identical across versions, meaning the original delivers the same core phaser character that made the Grand Orbiter a well-regarded pedal in EarthQuaker's lineup.
The Warm Audio Jet Phaser is a recreation of the 1970s Roland AP-7 Jet Phaser, a combined phaser and fuzz circuit. It pairs deep, swirling phase modulation with a hot, searing fuzz, and offers four modes: the second intensifies the swirl and, with resonance raised, gives the searing jet-engine character the original is named for, while modes three and four are mellower, rolling off the upper frequencies so the phaser and fuzz blend into a swirling snarl. At low resonance the phase voice adds subtle animation and shimmer; at high resonance it takes on a rotary-speaker wobble. A Jet control doubles as a solo boost, and holding the Fast/Slow footswitch lets the modulation settle at in-between speeds like a real Leslie.
