Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.43% — somewhat different

The EarthQuaker Devices Hummingbird Repeat Percussions V3 refines the same vintage-modeled choppy, sawtooth tremolo circuit found in the original Hummingbird and V2, adding a third speed setting for more tremolo-rate versatility and switching to top-mounted jacks for improved pedalboard compatibility over V2's side-mounted layout. The underlying tremolo voicing, modeled on the Repeat Percussion units found in old Valco and Vox amps, remains unchanged, still spanning classic shimmering tremolo through to a synthy, delay-like chop character.
The Rocktron Reaction Tremolo is part of the Reaction series of analogue pedals, producing tremolo — rhythmic variation in volume, distinct from the pitch-varying vibrato it is often confused with. The Reaction line covers standard effect types at accessible prices rather than pursuing distinctive voicing. Independent coverage of this specific pedal is limited, so this description does not assert waveform options or control layout that sources do not establish.
