Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. The EBS Magni 502 1x15 is a 500-watt solid-state bass combo from EBS Sweden with a single 15-inch speaker. Delivering 500W with a professional preamp, full EQ section, built-in compressor, and DI output, the Magni 502 1x15 provides deep, extended low-end response in a professional self-contained format. EBS Sweden is known for high-quality professional bass amplification for touring and studio applications.
The Traynor SB115 is a 200-watt bass combo amp built around a 15-inch speaker, the largest speaker in the Small Block series, and includes a dedicated Master Volume control alongside the shared 4-band active EQ. Its balanced XLR DI output is taken pre-EQ, unlike the SB110 and SB112's post-EQ output, giving a drier signal for front-of-house mixing independent of the amp's own tone shaping. It's aimed at bassists wanting maximum low-end extension and stage volume from the Small Block lineup, trading some of the series' portability advantage for larger speaker output.
