It uses three amp style JFET gain stages and switches between Normal mode, for low to medium gain amp like drive, and Boost mode, which adds a pedal type overdrive circuit in front of the JFET stages for much higher gain and saturation. A dry blend control, invaluable for bass and keys, a three position input level switch and an active three band EQ make it highly flexible. It suits rock, hard rock and metal players who want versatile, amp like overdrive into full distortion with strong EQ control in a compact pedal.
