Description

The Fender Custom Shop Danny Gatton Signature Telecaster recreates Gatton's heavily modified vintage 50s Tele with swamp ash body, maple neck, and dual custom Joe Barden pickups modeled on his original guitar's specs. The Barden pickups deliver bright, twangy, biting, and crystal-clear tone with warm snappiness and full humbucking without true humbucker harshness, noiseless and handling everything from twangy country to smooth jazz to gritty blues. A fat custom 50s U-shaped neck with 9.5-inch radius and vintage frets enables big pedal-steel bends and chords alike.

The Fender Custom Shop Robin Trower Signature Stratocaster is a collaboration between Trower and master builder Todd Krause featuring custom single-coil pickups: a bluesy, gritty Texas Special bridge, a round low and chiming high Custom 54 neck, and a reverse-wound, reverse-polarity Custom 60s middle for hum-canceling quacky in-between tones. An alder body, custom C-shaped maple neck with modern 9.5-inch radius and 21 medium-jumbo frets support expressive bending. The thick-ish tone with crisp edge captures Trower blues-rock riff clarity.
